This set up is designed to give a more comfortable performance fit while holding Spartan Armor's swimmers cut AR500 Omega™ Body Armor plates. Carrier includes emergency drag handle, quick cinch adjustments for the front and hook and loop adjustments on the shoulders, the Spartan Armor/Condor Sentry is perfect for rapid response situations. The Hydra Plate Carrier is adjustable from Medium to XL Package includes a set of two (2) AR500 Omega™ Swimmers Cut Body Armor single curve plates with a base coat of our Encapsaloc‰™ coating. The Hydra Plate Carrier is a highly adaptable carrier ideal for quick deployment and emergency situations such as active shooter scenarios. Easily adjustable buckles ensure a snug and comfortable fit on the sides. Ample length shoulder straps allow the Hydra plate carrier to be easily adjusted to fit a wide variety of body types. Breathable mesh is used at chest, back and shoulder contact points to allow for maximum breathability. The Hydra plate carrier is a great choice for anyone looking for a lightweight and versatile body armor configuration.

Constructed from lab certified AR500 Omega™ Armor, (1/4” thickness) these plates provide the operator with Level III protection IAW NIJ0101.06 standards.

With all of AR500 Omega™ Spartan Armor Systems™ products, they only use ballistic LAB CERTIFIED AR500 steel! Spartan Armor is excited to announce their potentially “life saving” breakthrough!  The strike face for their plates is mark embedded with their Spartan logo! Both sides of these plates are coated, however, the back side only has a “courtesy coat” to protect against wear and rust. The front of the plate is lined with 1/4-3/8 of Spartan Armor proprietary coating, Encapsaloc ™.  The result is a plate approximately 1/2-5/8” total thickness.  Due to popular demand, they have added a “base coat” only option for their AR500 Omega™ armor products. The base coat option has an extremely thin layer of Spartan Armor's fragmentation mitigation coating to aesthetically enhance the plates, and to provide corrosion resistance. This coating has minimal, if any, fragmentation mitigation capabilities.
