The DFNDR Level III Rifle Plate is lightweight at only 2.9 lbs per plate (size 10 x 12) and has been tested to NIJ 0101.04 Protocol. No more heavy loads for your plate carrier set-up while still ensuring your safety and mobility in tactical situations.
This armor system is rated to defeat multiple rounds of 7.62x51mm Steel Jacket NATO M80, 5.56x45mm M193 and 7.62x39mm Ball ammunition.
DFNDR Armor is engineered with the highest grade of advanced ballistic materials; an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber bound with a resin matrix, to make it a rigid hard stand alone armor system.
This armor system is tested at muzzle velocities listed below, mitigates spall and deflection. The level III plate is also equipped with state of the art trauma reduction technology to reduce the energy of an impact to the body.
