The materials used in the fabrication of the 26605 series allows for projectiles to be absorbed within the plate itself, preventing dangerous spall as is common with steel plates. Don't rely on your carrier to stop high speed bullet fragmentation.

Our 10×12 inch single-curve hard armor SAPI cut plate is certified NIJ 0101.06 Level IV Stand Alone. The multiple geometric contours of the plate design result in one of the most comfortable plates ever created.  Manufactured from high-density alumina ceramic core (Al2O3) backed with layered polymer composite fiber. Finished in a Durable Cordura wrap to protect against UV Rays, dirt, dust and water.
